So...let's talk strategy
LOL. Had two great games today. TWO. 2. with the guildies and some others, notably Lailu and Perix.
We start out pretty well. We really do. Though I was skeptical of Perix's "let's all charge their house" strategy, it wasn't a bad opener. But after the first capping happens, it all goes to hell. Why? We don't seem to be able to regroup after the first shot. Is this because no one is the leader calling out, "hey let's group up at the end of the tunnel." I think it might be. Someone needs to be willing to be the line leader.
Now on Skype, Eric does that and we pretty much follow along. That worked pretty well for us today. But we're rarely the entire Alllie team; we're a part of it, sometimes a small part of it. Partly this lack of leadership happens because everyone seems reluctant to start up the raid group when we first get in there. Invite. Invite plz. Please invite. on and on it goes till someone relents and starts it up. Interestingly, the person who forms the group is the defacto raid captn and can, potentially, step up and lead. His/her chat line is in a different color (pale yellow instead of orange) and that person has some tools, I think, that could direct the line of fire.
Okay, leadership issues aside. Strategy.
Any thoughts out there? No defense; everyone on offense? Only 2-3 on offense? etc.
And man, I wish I knew where they hid that damned flag today. We could not find it and we looked under all the rocks. It might be worth putting a Horde toon in BG to see what that's about.
